1. GENERAL
1.1 All major components can be replaced from the front of the
cooker.
• Makesurebothelectricalandoilsuppliesareisolated
before carrying out any service work
2. OIL BURNER
2.1 Behind the control door:
• Removethetwoscrewsretainingthefrontcover,

• Removethetwowingnutsretainingtheburnerdoor,

• RemovetheKBBphialfromthetwoclipsonthelower
panel and remove the two screws to allow access to the oil
feed pipe, Diagram 3

• Placeasuitablecontainerundertheoilfeedpipeelbow
and undo the compression joint, Diagram 4

• Liftouttheburnerassemblyanddismantleallthe
components, Diagram 5

• Removeallthecarbondepositsfromtheburnerbase,oil
ways and feed pipe
• Gentlybrushanycarbondepositsfromtheshellsandtop
lid. Also clean the vaporising plug
• Checkthewickandreplaceifnecessary
• Reassembleinreverseorder
IMPORTANT
It is essential that range cookers are serviced and flue ways inspected and cleaned at regular 6 month intervals.
The work must be carried out by trained service engineers.
The appliance should be turned off at least 12 hours before the arrival of the engineer to allow it to cool.
